Today There Was Everything

“How does the clock stay connected to the sun?” asked a young and curious little mind. And, just for a moment, I imagined a world where all the clocks were energetically charged by the sun, layering a natural rhythm and pulse over everything and changing the rhythm of our day.

Those days. This day. When magic seems to find its way into every moment. The glistening water lapping at your feet, whispering trees to one side and the rhythmic sea to the other. The bustling chatter of people in the background and the call of bushy birds nearby. Some small boats on the river and a piano in the soundshell, tinkling to passersby. Today and especially today there seemed to be pretty much everything.
